Roller Chain Sprockets

Cogmatic manufactures sprockets for standard RC80 to RC240 roller chain, fully customized to meet our customers’ new production or field retrofit requirements. Our unique Flame Machining equipment and shop floor layout allows us to support sprocket designs up to 18 feet in diameter, with the majority of our products falling between 18 inches and 6 feet in diameter. 

Typically custom-manufactured from plate steel, forgings or rolled bar stock, our roller chain sprockets can be flame machined to meet a multitude of industrial customers’ power transmission requirements. Our customers’ roller chain applications include rotary dryers, large drum rotation, aggregate conveying, turntable rotation, railcar indexing, rock crushing, agricultural mixing, lumber shredding, earth trenching, metal recycling, dewatering, concrete reclamation, and wastewater treatment. Our induction heat treating and carburization processes make our roller chain sprockets the toughest in the market!

We deliver sprockets in single and double-strand configurations, both solid and split, with A, B, & C style hubs. We include lightweighting holes on our larger sprockets to help our customers keep their overall design weight to a minimum. Our split sprocket solutions are manufactured as solid to ensure continuity of the tooth profile, and we typically include patch plates and spacer pins to simplify our customers’ installation and assure the performance of the sprocket.

Our dual-strand roller chain sprockets are built by our certified welders with a unique design, assuring high performance and quality. That same expertise is used to add custom hubs to our roller chain sprockets, with bores, keyways, and splines built to specification. Cogmatic manages the machining of bores, keyways, sets screws, mounting holes, and mating surfaces to tolerances of 0.005”. We deliver a finished product to our customers’ print specifications.
