Our large diameter gears are used in incredibly demanding physical environments, with applications in mining, trenching, rock crushing, excavation, concrete mixing and more. Our drive gears typically range from 3 to ¾ Diametral Pitch (DP) and can have external or internal tooth profiles. Manufactured from steel plate or forgings, Cogmatic’s large drive gears can be flame-machined up to 18 feet in diameter.
Based on your power transmission application needs, these drive gears can be induction-hardened, through-hardened, or both. Cogmatic can provide a corresponding drive pinion, designed for smooth operation with your large ring gear.
